ASUS is preparing the launch earlier this year a new electronic tablet model ASUS ME172V, with Android 4.1, seven-inch screen and price / performance very adjusted.

 
The tablet ASUS ME172V would be powered with a processor VIA WM8950, Mali 400 series graphics, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable with micro SD cards.
Its capacitive screen would be a 7-inch of 1024 x 600 pixel native resolutions, with one megapixel front camera and 4270 mAh battery.

With Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, this ASUS ME172V will on sale in January 2013 although it is not yet mentioned that this tab will be region specific or will be globally launches. Its price change is 220 euros. Perhaps too close to the Nexus 7 also manufactured by ASUS is expected to drop even further when this tab will released.
